Are you interested in learning how to embroider?
In this workshop, you’ll discover the basics of embroidery while learning to identify poison ivy in the natural environment. You’ll then use this knowledge to create your own embroidered poison ivy piece, which will become part of a collaborative artwork that will be displayed at the Kortright Centre for Conservation!
All materials will be provided. All workshop participants will receive a poison ivy pocket guide to take home.
This event is intended for ages 10+:
- No previous embroidering or sewing experience required
- All materials are provided for you, along with hands-on, step-by-step instruction
- Suitable for families (children, youth, and adults)
There is a limited number of spots available and registration is required.
