Help to stop the spread of invasive species!

Participants will take part in removing invasive species in the pollinator gardens at Duffin Heights Forest and River Trail in Pickering.

Registration is required for this event; walk-ins will not be accepted.

What to wear:

  • Long pants
  • Closed-toed shoes
  • Tall socks
  • Face mask
  • Hat
  • Sunscreen

What to bring*:

  • Rain protection
  • Bug spray
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Snacks

*Gardening gloves and water refill will be available on site.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no washroom available on site.


Cancellation policy: The event will run rain or shine, but will be cancelled if there is a greater than 70% chance of thunderstorm or other hazardous weather. Registrants will be emailed by 8:00 a.m. on the morning of the event if there is a cancellation.
