Conservation Youth Corps – Tree Stewardship & Care | Duffin Heights
FREE EVENT!
Join Conservation Youth Corps and help young trees thrive in your community! High School volunteers will support the health and growth of recently planted trees by mulching, weeding, and installing protective coverings. Along the way, you’ll learn about the role trees play in climate resilience, and how proper maintenance ensures long-term success of reforestation projects.
This is a great opportunity to earn high school community service hours while making a lasting environmental impact in your neighborhood! All tools and training are provided. No experience necessary—just dress for the weather and be ready to dig in!
TRCA is committed to creating an accessible experience for all participants. If you require an accessibility accommodation, please email davidangelo.williams@trca.ca at least 5 days prior to the event.
This Conservation Youth Corps event is supported by the City of Pickering.
Cancellation policy: The event will run rain or shine but will be cancelled if there is extreme weather. Registrants will be emailed two hours prior to the event if there is a cancellation.
