
Conservation Youth Corps – Native Tree Planting | Pickering

Join Conservation Youth Corps and help us green the city! Support habitat restoration by planting native trees and shrubs in Pickering. TRCA staff will guide you through proper planting techniques and explain the importance of reforestation efforts.
This is a great opportunity to earn high school community service hours while making a lasting environmental impact in your neighborhood! All tools and training are provided. No experience necessary—just dress for the weather and be ready to dig in!

This Conservation Youth Corps event is supported by the City of Pickering.
Dropoff/Parking: Access this planting site via an entrance on the northside of Altona Rd, just east of the Finch Ave/Altona Rd intersection.
Cancellation policy: The event will run rain or shine but will be cancelled if there is extreme weather. Registrants will be emailed two hours prior to the event if there is a cancellation.
