Would you like to help maintain a native garden and learn about the pollinators that might use it?
Participants will take part in maintaining a pollinator gardens at Claremont Nature Centre in Pickering. Meet at the front entrance of the centre.
Registration is required for this event, walk-ins will not be accepted.
What to wear: Long pants, closed-toed shoes, tall socks, face mask, hat and sunscreen.
What to bring: Rain protection, bug spray, reusable water bottle and snacks. Gardening gloves and water refill will be available on site.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no washroom available on site.
Cancellation policy: The event will run rain or shine, but will be cancelled if there is a greater than 70% chance of thunderstorm or other hazardous weather. Registrants will be emailed by 8:00am on the morning of the event if there is a cancellation.
