Discover the diversity of native bees! Learn how to identify a bee from a wasp and to name common bumble bees in the Greater Toronto Area. Then we’ll venture outside to collect and identify local bees and learn how to use Bumble Bee Watch!

  • Hike Distance: 1.5 km
  • Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
  • Trail Surface Type: Paved and natural
  • Age Range: Family Friendly (recommended for children ages 6 and up)
  • Meeting Place: Activity Room

Parking and washrooms are available at this site. This event will take place rain or shine. Please dress for the weather, including closed-toed shoes and sun/rain protection. You will be notified if the hike needs to be cancelled due to extreme weather.
