Discover the diversity of native bees!
Learn how to tell a bee from a wasp, and how to identify common bumble bees in the Greater Toronto Area. Then we’ll venture into The Meadoway to collect and identify local bees and learn how to use Bumble Bee Watch!
This program is recommended for families with children ages 6 and up:
- Beginner level information
- Activities and concepts that are friendly for all ages
- Intended audience includes children, youth, and adults
Note: This program will be held outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle. More information on how to prepare and what to expect will be emailed to all registrants prior to the event.
