Celebrate Father’s Day with a planting event and nature walk! This event begins with planting trees and shrubs at Botany Hill Park with the City of Toronto from 10:00am-12:00pm. After the planting, take a walk with TRCA staff to The Meadoway, Toronto’s largest new natural corridor! TRCA staff will lead you to the site to showcase how it will connect the East Don Trail to the Rouge, link fragmented greenspaces together, and create a transportation corridor for animals, plants, and humans!”

A planting event and nature hike are perfect activities for community groups, individuals and families – all are welcome to attend. Planting equipment and materials are provided. Volunteers should dress for the weather, wear comfortable clothing, sturdy closed-toe shoes, long pants, and bring sunscreen and drinking water.

Please see the City of Toronto’s event calendar for more information
