Join us outdoors in planting 150 native pollinators and revitalizing the St. Andrew’s pollinator gardens in Ajax! Help create habitat, clean the watershed, and combat climate change!
This initiative is supported by the Ajax Partnership Fund through the 2023 Ajax Youth Greening Project in partnership with the Ajax Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan (SNAP).
This event is intended for a General Audience:
- Beginner level information
- Includes intermediate concepts
- Content intended for older youth and adults
What to wear: Long pants, closed-toed shoes, tall socks, hat, and sunscreen.
What to bring: Rain protection, bug spray, reusable water bottle, and snacks. Gardening gloves and water refill will be available on site.
Cancellation policy: The event will run rain or shine, but will be cancelled if there is a greater than 70% chance of thunderstorm or other hazardous weather. Registrants will be emailed by 7:00 a.m. on the morning of the event if there is a cancellation.
