Getting your kids to school: Is it simply a task on the to-do list, or an opportunity for meaningful connection with your children and your community? A stressful experience to rush through, or a chance for getting transportation, exercise, and quality time — all achieved in one activity?

As we prepare for the return to in-person learning this September, join us for this FREE one-hour interactive webinar packed with information and new approaches to help you rethink the journey to school.

Presented in collaboration with Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), Region of Peel, and Student Transportation of Peel Region (STOPR), this webinar is open to all parents and caregivers of children Kindergarten to Grade 8 attending school in the Region of Peel. We look forward to seeing you there!

The webinar will feature presentations from:

  • Student Transportation of Peel Region
  • Peel Regional Police
  • Peel District School Board and Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board

Presentations will be followed by an interactive “myth versus fact” activity, and a moderated question-and-answer session with our presenters. Please submit your questions when you register for the event, as we will not be taking questions live during the event.

The webinar will take place via Microsoft Teams. After registration, you will be emailed a link to join the webinar.

This event is part of TRCA’s work within Peel Active Transportation.

TRCA is committed to creating an accessible experience for all participants. If you require an accommodation, please email or call (437) 488-9042 at least seven days prior to the event.
